Here is the BLS data from the January report on Non Farm Payrolls. Look at the Difference column. More than 1 million jobs have been revised out of the 2025 data.
Compare that report to January 2024. More than 115k jobs were added during revisions.
It is very tough for a speculator, investor, or a corporate executive to make decisions when the data being produced is at best late and inaccurate.
At worse, if the data is fraudulent. I don’t envy the BLS here. They can’t win. And I think that is really the point. Cut funding so the data is incomplete and inaccurate then shut down the BLS so that there is no publicly available data which Wall Street probably thinks will make them more money.
Consumer Price Index (CPI) data release is tomorrow Friday (I am dumb.) March rate cut odds should already be zero after today. Still waiting on SCOTUS to rule and Powell’s decision about staying on as a governor or resigning.

I added (partially) to Aligos Therapeutics with profits from trading today’s correction after the market initially misread the data print. No logical reason for this over others. Just went through my target list alphabetically.
RenX Enterprises spiked today right as it entered the predicted volatility window.
And Liminatus crashed after running over the last few sessions to set up an offering. The whole process was a bit earlier than the code’s predicted volatility window but did move right after accumulation tripped. So you can see before and after volume in an FST. The red area is the FST in both charts.
Precision BioSciences quietly announced IND approval. I say quietly because commonly used news aggregators like Finviz did not report the press release which is strange. I bought NASDAQ:$DTIL this morning and will add if it drifts into the channel. Fingers crossed it doesn’t drift.
Amazon filed a 13-G on BETA Technologies an eVtol (helicopter) company accept Amazon was listed as a partner in July’s DRS statement and the filing is dated December 31, 2025. So be aware this is not an at-the-market purchase.
