As expected bid pressure continued to abate. Waller pushed down the small caps and Microsoft and Oracle slammed the tech sector. I forgot to mention here yesterday that Oracle’s attempt to raise capital for its Michigan data center didn’t go smoothly yesterday.
And, bid pressure resumed in full - two hours into trading. I get asked what “bid pressure” is. So here are two completely Claude generated explainers. One of these should be sufficient I just don’t know where one.
Fractyl Health ($GUTS) got crushed on what was really not that bad of a result. The trial is too early and too small and most importantly overweight people don’t stick to their diets to have any sort of significance but when a stock is just retail chasers such things are bound to happen. The exit opportunity was the previous days pump.
Quince Therapeutics on the other hand released the dreaded double oopsy after-hours. Even the dumbest algorithm would have shorted this headline immediately.
Primary and key secondary endpoint did not achieve statistical significance

Envue Medical popped. It was below the channel yesterday and still is. Code is showing yellow corporate risk on this one but was still on-model.
Perceptive Therapeutics ($CATX) was in the channel yesterday it hit $6.00 today intraday.
